What it worked out on its own
The caption is a window, not a transcript. A whole sentence invites reading ahead, and someone reading ahead has stopped listening — which for a testimonial is the entire loss.
One word in accent and the rest in white is what makes the caption track speech rather than accompany it.
The plate hugs its line rather than spanning the frame, so it never becomes a bar across a vertical video.
