What it worked out on its own
Five beats over twelve seconds, in reading order: border, monogram, names, details, RSVP. Everything arriving together makes a poster.
The photograph is desaturated and darkened behind a warm paper tone. At full strength behind formal type it is a fight neither wins.
Tracking is the formality — and it is also width. At 0.42em the detail lines ran past the drawn border on both sides; the space has to go around the block, not through it.
