What it worked out on its own
The announcement is a change, so the piece shows the change. Showing only the new address makes it a business card.
A tilted card with a real shadow over a pushed-in photograph: two planes, clearly separated, so nothing has to be explained.
The strike-through draws left to right at reading speed, which is what makes it read as someone crossing it out rather than as a line appearing.
