What it worked out on its own
Five cards in a neat list is a testimonials section; five thrown onto a pile is a quantity, which is the thing the shot is claiming.
Only the top strip of a stacked card is ever visible, so each one is a row — stars, one line, a name — with the quote pinned to a single line so no string anyone types can push it under the card below.
The stars sweep in after the card lands, which makes the rating read as a score being given rather than a picture of one.
The rotations are deterministic per index: a pile that reshuffles on every render is a pile nobody can grade.
